Description

The C14D44RS is a specialised, safe solution for transporting large volumes of methanol. This 40-foot, 44,000-litre tank enables efficient multimodal transport of a key chemical industry product. Top-only loading and unloading enhance safety when handling flammable liquids such as methanol. Contact us for information on other approved cargoes.

In addition to methanol, the tank can carry other widely used chemicals, including formalin, certain alcohols, fatty acids and liquids requiring similar transport conditions. Special fittings designed for aggressive and flammable media make this possible.

• DN80 loading/unloading butterfly valve
• Float level gauge for monitoring filling and remaining contents
• Sampling device for quick, safe closed sampling at 10–50% levels
• Pressure gauge with valve manifold for monitoring internal excess pressure
• DN40 ball valve for drip tray cleaning
• Vapour-phase venting device with DN40 ball valve
• Level and temperature alarm, if required
