A key stop was Sespel, one of the district’s major employers. The prosecutor reviewed its production operations, working conditions and product range, toured the workshops and assessed the plant’s technical capabilities.

During his meeting with employees, Eduard Gimatov discussed ways to prevent telephone and online fraud. Staff were reminded of common scams and how to protect themselves. Afterwards, the prosecutor listened to employees’ individual concerns. Prosecutorial checks were initiated in response to several of the issues raised.

Visit to Syatrakasy School

The prosecutor then visited Syatrakasy School, where he spoke with pupils about unlawful actions and the responsibility they entail. He told senior pupils about targeted referrals from the prosecutor’s office for law studies, an opportunity to obtain a professional education and later work in the prosecution service of the Chuvash Republic.

Inspection on Privolnaya Street

At the end of the visit, the prosecutor inspected Privolnaya Street in Syatrakasy village. Following major road repairs, some residents had experienced difficulties accessing their properties because of problems with driveways and drainage. Eduard Gimatov instructed that the technical solutions previously developed at the prosecutor’s initiative to restore residents’ rights should be implemented promptly.

The working visit covered a broad range of issues, from the region’s industrial capabilities and crime prevention to the protection of citizens’ rights. The visit to Sespel highlighted the supervisory authorities’ interest in businesses that support technological independence and local employment.
