Friction stir welding equipment for tank structures
Manufacture and assembly of a friction stir welding machine with a rotary table supporting up to 80 tonnes and five additional fixtures of different diameters. The machine mills and friction stir welds aluminium alloy structures.
Specifications:- Welding thickness: 2.0–30.0 mm
- Weldable alloys: АМг6, АМг6НВП, АМг6М-2 and 1580
- Alloy tensile strength: at least 420 MPa
- Axial tool force: up to 10 tonne-force
- Lateral tool force: up to 4.5 tonne-force
