Sespel launches its first electric wheel loader

Sespel has successfully started up its first electric wheel loader. The team integrated the electric drive and configured its controls; field testing and further machine adjustments are the next stage.
Sespel has successfully started up its first electric wheel loader. This marks a new engineering milestone for the plant: development has progressed to initial operation, with field testing still to come.
From development to initial operation
Integrating the electric drive was one of the key tasks. Specialists also configured the control systems to prepare the machine for further adjustment. The initial start-up marks the transition from manufacture and assembly to the next stage of work on the loader as an integrated system.

A result achieved by the plant team
Designers, process engineers and production teams contributed to the loader. The project brought together metal-cutting staff, assemblers, fitters, electricians, commissioning specialists, operators and supervisors. Coordination was needed at every stage to turn engineering decisions into parts and assemblies, build the machine and configure its systems.
The company thanks the team for its professionalism and collaboration. The first start-up is a shared achievement by the specialists who supported the machine from design through commissioning.

Field testing is the next stage
Field testing comes next. Its purpose is to check machine operation, adjust the systems and identify any changes needed. The team will continue refining the loader based on the results: the first start-up opens the next phase of testing.
