Sespel develops Russia’s first liquid argon vaporiser with an aluminium cryogenic vessel

Sespel has completed the development, testing and commissioning of the КГА.620‑500‑1,6 vaporiser for liquid argon. It is Russia’s first vaporiser fitted with a 500-litre aluminium cryogenic vessel. Designed for an operating pressure of 16 bar, it replaces 64 standard high-pressure cylinders and provides reliable, efficient vaporisation. The new unit is already in operation at the company’s production site.

Sespel’s specialists have successfully completed the full development cycle for the КГА.620‑500‑1,6 vaporiser, from engineering documentation to manufacture, testing and commissioning. The equipment is designed to store and vaporise liquid argon and is already operating at the company’s production site.

This is Russia’s first vaporiser of its type equipped with an aluminium alloy cryogenic vessel. The design provides high corrosion resistance, low weight and reliable operation at low temperatures.
