Multi-compartment silo

Description

High-quality bulk materials must be protected against contamination. Certified welders ensure leak-tight silos and high-quality storage. Rolled sheet metal provides smooth silo surfaces. Standard silos accommodate most bulk materials without structural changes. The fully welded outdoor silo has a protective skirt for mounting on foundation rings.

Silos can be fitted with removable filters, discharge equipment, level sensors, explosion protection, insulation, extraction vessels, slide gates and dosing devices according to the stored material. Material levels can be monitored and recorded through a control cabinet or network software. Dry-air systems are available where condensation must be prevented.

We offer tailored solutions for industry-specific requirements, such as storing polycarbonate for disc manufacturing or sugar for ketchup production. Depending on the application, we manufacture storage, mixing, homogenising, multi-compartment and transfer silos.

Silo and pipeline installation

Silos up to 25 m high and 4.2 m in diameter are manufactured and equipped at the factory. Specialist logistics companies deliver them safely and on time. Before installation, we check and adjust the level of the foundation ring supplied in advance. Two mobile cranes unload the silo: the larger crane lifts it upright while the smaller supports its lower end, preventing contact with the delivery vehicle or the ground.

Bulk materials usually enter the production building through vacuum or pneumatic conveying systems. Experienced installers lay the pipeline from the silo to the processing machine. We supply complete pipework, fittings, hoses and fixings, and can carry out all electrical work to minimise interfaces. After electrical installation, we commission the system. Our installers leave only after customer acceptance.
